Materials

The standard of FSQ bearing housings is made of grey cast iron. Certain housings are also available in spheroidal graphite cast iron (ductile iron) and cast steel if higher strength is required. However, housings in Stainless Steel is also can be supplied.

For applications where housings of greater strength are needed, FSQ manufactures ranges of bearing housings of SSN, SSNK, SSD,SSAF... The bases of these housings are solid and may be drilled for 2 or 4 bolt fixing are required.

Seals

Several different seals can be supplied. All rubber seals can be used at temperatures between -40 ºC and
+ 100ºC.

Seals for temperature over 100ºC are also available upon reguest. Many other types of bearing housings not listed in this catalog and variants of listed housings adapted to customer demands can also be supplied.
